You can install the CookieForte WordPress plugin in just a few minutes — no theme edits required.

Step 1: Download the plugin

Log in to your CookieForte account.

Open the Install on website section.

1. Download the CookieForte WordPress plugin (cookieforte.zip).

Step 2: Install the plugin in WordPress

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.

2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

3. Upload the downloaded cookieforte.zip.

4. Click Install Now, then Activate.

Step 3: Configure CookieForte

1. In WordPress, go to Settings → CookieForte.

2. Paste your CookieForte banner script URL provided in the Install on website section (for example: https://cdn.cookieforte.com/consent/XXXXXXXX/consent.js).

3. Click Save Changes.

Step 4: Done

After saving, the CookieForte cookie banner is automatically added to your site. A Cookie Declaration page is created, and a link to the cookie declaration is added to the site footer. No further setup is required.

Optional configuration

You can change or disable the footer link, or place the cookie declaration manually using the shortcode [cookieforte_cookie_declaration] or the CookieForte Cookie Declaration block.
